ContrastaLab is an AI-assisted analysis tool. Generated analyses are indicative and may contain errors. They have no legal value and do not replace independent journalistic verification.

ContrastaLab is a web platform for claim analysis and rhetorical auditing that uses artificial intelligence models to process texts submitted by the user. The service identifies types of claims, evaluates the rhetorical quality of language and, optionally, searches publicly available internet sources to cross-check verifiable facts.
The service is currently provided in beta and free of charge, with no guarantee of continuous availability or accuracy of results.
Analyses generated by ContrastaLab are produced automatically by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, omissions or errors. In particular:
— AI models may make errors of interpretation, classification or assessment of claims.
— External source verification depends on the availability and accessibility of those sources at the time of analysis.
— Results reflect the state of publicly available information at the time of analysis and may become outdated.
— No ContrastaLab analysis should be interpreted as a definitive statement of truth or falsity about any claim.
— The system does not determine the intention of the author of the analysed text or issue value judgements about individuals or institutions.
ContrastaLab accepts no liability for any damages arising from use of the service, including decisions made based on analysis results, errors or omissions in generated analyses, service interruptions, or use of the service for unintended purposes.
Users agree to use ContrastaLab lawfully and responsibly. Prohibited uses include: submitting texts containing third-party personal data without consent; using the service to generate disinformation; abusive use that compromises availability for other users; reproducing or commercialising generated analyses without indicating their automated origin.
The design, code, original texts and content of ContrastaLab are the property of its creators. Automatically generated analyses of third-party texts do not constitute original works protected by ContrastaLab copyright. Texts submitted by users remain their exclusive property.
ContrastaLab does not store texts submitted for analysis. Queries are processed in real time and are not associated with identifiable user profiles. See our Privacy Policy for details.
This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts under applicable regulations.
